TEXTS AND INSCRIPTIONS

Strabo, "Geography" 8.6
Strabo lived from about 64 B.C. - 21 A.D.  This section of  his work describes Corinth and the surrounding area.  The text is from the Perseus Project; scroll down to paragraph #20 to find the remarks about Corinth.

Pausanias, "Description of Greece" 2.1-5.5
Pausanias travelled in Greece around 165 A.D., and wrote a "guide book."  Here is his description of Corinth and the surrounding area.
